Types of Timber Framing by Durstone Joinery

Bespoke Oak Framing

This piece was sculpted from a slab of solid European Oak using our very own CNC machine, complete with engraved personalised text. Sanded, oiled and finished by hand.
Conservatories

Solid Oak stable name plate programmed and engraved in-house using our CNC router, then sanded, oiled and finished by hand.
Car Ports & Garages

A unique worktop for a customer to elevate their kitchen to tie in with other oak elements throughout the room. Construted from soli oak staves, finished in a clear hardwearing lacquer to withstand daily use.

Solid timber can be used in so many ways, and such can be shaped and used in a way to create unique windows designs that make a statement.

The Process of Timber Frame

Initial Conversation

Contact us with your requirements or provide drawings/measurements for an estimate. Our team will discuss details and schedule a convenient visit.

The Build

Once everything has been confirmed we begin crafting your products. Everything is done in house in our workshop and finished in our spray booth.

Visit & Discussion

During the visit, we'll measure, discuss design, desired function, your requirements, recommendations, and options.

Ironmongery

During this stage, the final touches are added to your joinery. We have a wide range of hardware available in a variety of colours, styles and finishes.

Estimate & Drawings

Once we have all of this information, we will produce an estimate. Items such as Timber Frame and Cabinetry we are able to produce 3D Models to help you visualise your final product.
